  6. Dear Fijirealestate, that does look quite wonderful and congratulations for going off grid and being so ecological. One problem I would be concerned about, before getting into this venture is, what will become of the place with global warming and its rising sea levels? I am not a Mermaid and not even a Merman so would find it quite deplorable if my house ended up under water..... any ideas for that?

  7. @116vipondsroad Hi there! Due to the topography of the island most properties are located well above water level, so a modest rise would not affect us too much. We are of course taking global warming quite seriously and its hard to estimate what will happen with storms and related storm surges in the future. Fiji is uniquely protected from tsunamis through steep barrier reefs, so at least we don't have to worry too much about waves unless an earthquake happens right in our waters. Thanks !

  9. @woozlekisses Hi this is Joe from Koro Island. A nice simple two bedroom home would cost you around $60 -$75K US with labor and materials. See you on Koro!
